Introduce Adult Self Control

Remember, frustration and emotional energy feeds misbehavior. It is important to remain calm and consistent to make behavior change. By being mindful of ourselves, our triggers, our approach, and self-management, we are better able to manage the students in a way that is healing. We don’t have control over their behavior, we only have control over our behavior and how we manage the students. This is done using the other areas of the healing environment.
